The framework governing our global logistics operations and shipment handling.
1. Carrier Responsibility
Reex-logistics acts as a carrier and freight forwarder. Our responsibility begins once the parcel is scanned into our system and ends with a confirmed digital signature at the destination.
Liability Limit
Unless extra insurance is purchased, our standard liability is limited to $100 per shipment or the declared value (whichever is lower).
2. Packaging Standards
Clients are responsible for ensuring all items are packaged to withstand transit. Reex-logistics reserves the right to refuse any shipment that:
- ✅ Is leaked or improperly sealed
- ✅ Contains fragile items without padding
- ✅ Lacks clear machine-readable labels
- ✅ Exceeds weight limits without prior notice
3. Customs & Duties
The consignee is responsible for all local taxes, import duties, and VAT. Reex-logistics may advance these fees to expedite clearance, which will be billed back to the client.
4. Dispute Resolution
Any claims for damage or loss must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. All legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the shipment originated.
